Seduced AI started from one frustration: the AI Girlfriend space was loud, fast, and desperately short on honest coverage. We built this site to fix that for adults who wanted facts rather than froth.

What we set out to do

Our remit is narrow on purpose. We cover, compare, and explain AI girlfriend and AI companion apps and nothing else. Part of that is hands-on time with chat, voice, image, and video features; part is slower research into privacy terms, real pricing, and the technology beneath the marketing. The goal never changes: help a reader decide quickly and without regret.

How a review comes together

Trust is earned a line at a time, so here is the process in full. We use a companion the way a paying subscriber would, through the free tier and, when it matters, a paid plan. We read the privacy policy end to end rather than the tidy summary. We check the price at the checkout, not the landing page, because the two so often disagree. Any claim about memory, safety, or popularity is traced to a named source before it reaches our writing, and a second editor signs off on every piece before it goes live.

When something turns out to be wrong, we correct it in the open and say that we did. Coverage is revisited on a rolling cycle, because an app that shone in spring can quietly gut its data terms by autumn. The boundaries of what our coverage can and cannot promise are spelled out in the Disclaimer.

What we weigh

Every app is judged on the things that actually touch you: how natural the conversation feels, whether the companion remembers you between visits, how good voice, image, and video really are, and what it truly costs once the trial lapses. Above all we weight privacy, because in this category it is the biggest risk. Independent work such as Mozilla's Privacy Not Included review and the American Psychological Association inform how we frame both the benefits and the risks.

Editorial independence

We are funded by affiliate commissions and say so plainly on the Affiliate Disclosure. That arrangement never decides a verdict. Coverage is written first; commercial links are added afterwards, and only to apps we would point a friend toward.

Who writes it

The editorial work is led by Sienna Hart, who has spent years covering consumer technology, generative AI, and digital privacy. AI tools may assist with drafting, but nothing reaches a reader without a human writing, checking, and standing behind it. If you want to try the product these standards describe, our AI GF coverage is the place to begin.
